On Monday, March 16 this year, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Development and Technology with the participation of Norbert Mastalerz, Director of the Tarnobrzeg Special Economic Zone EURO-PARK Wisłosan.
The talks focused on the future of the Polish Investment Zone, which in recent years has become one of the most important tools supporting the country's economic development.
Representatives of Special Economic Zones, public administration and institutions providing services to investors took part in the meeting, which was also attended by Minister Andrzej Domański.
It was emphasized that the further development of the Zones is not only about attracting new investments and increasing the competitiveness of the economy, but also about strengthening strategic sectors and building Poland’s economic security. The effectiveness of the measures undertaken will be of crucial importance for the inflow of capital, the condition of industry, and economic stability in the coming years.
Among the main topics were:• discussion of the draft amendments to the Act on Supporting New Investments and a debate on the future shape of the support system,• tax issues related to issuing decisions on support,• the cooperation model between the managers of the areas of the Polish Investment Zone and the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) and the Industrial Development Agency S.A.,• available forms of financing and investment support offered by Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego,• the rules and procedures for obtaining a Support Decision in the defense sector.
